Simpson Desert Motorcycle Tour description in brief
Simpson Desert motorcycle tour departs both from Alice Springs or Birdsville.
We hold a briefing before the start of tour on your safety and answer any last minute questions.
You will be riding a motorcycle for 5 days and camp under the stars for 4 nights with one nights accommodation (air condtioned dongers) at Birdsville.
We have a riders briefing each evening so you know exactly what you are going to do for the next day.
This is a tough trip, it will wear you down each day as the tour progresses further into the desert, do expect to fall off your motorcycle at least once if not more.
To do this tour you will require off road motorcycle experience not Youtube experience.
The flight that we include is in or out of Birdsville, this is a brilliant way to have a bird’s eye view of the deep red sands of central Australia and the contrasting difference of the lush green east coast of Australia, the flight is an all day affair with many small outback town stops along the way.
We have two supporting vehicles for this tour, 6×6 and 4×4 Landcruisers which service all your needs and keep the show rolling.
This tour does not have lead or sweep riders.
